Advantages:

Gymnastics is good for exercise for kids and its fun. They were become physically fit. Regular physical activity can help the children avoid of having a health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. It will also provide opportunities for children to learn the teamwork and how to communicate with others. Through this game, children will develop self-esteem, self-confidence and concentration. Children will develop their social skills. They will learn how to listen, follow directions with their coach or teacher and respect others.

Disadvantages:

If there is a good benefit of gymnastics in the children, there were also disadvantages of gymnastics. In practicing gymnastics, children will not avoid of having injure in their body especially if the children is beginners. Broken bones and serious sprain are the common injuries of the gymnasts. Eating disorders is also disadvantages because some coaches pressure them to lose weight. Girls may develop eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia, in attempt to lose weight. It will also affect their feelings. Children are emotionally sensitive. Once that they have a game and children want to win and they failed it, they will become emotional.

Gymnastics is very fun. Gymnasts will take care of themselves and always go to doctor to guide the children of what they need to go.
